Designing Places With Purpose and Style
The most memorable places begin with a clear point of view. Partnering with owners, developers, architects, and operators, I help shape hospitality and residential destinations from the earliest stages of development—creating names, brand strategies, identities, and immersive experiences that define how people connect with a place. From boutique hotels to residential communities, each project is built around a distinct narrative, translating architecture into living brands that inspire, differentiate, and endure.
The Revolution
Hotel
Hospitality With a Revolutionary Point of View
As Creative Director, I partnered closely with PCA Architects, The Mount Vernon Company, and Provenance Hotels to lead the creative development of the brand, interior experience, and creative vision for The Revolution Hotel, a one-of-a-kind boutique destination in Boston's historic South End. Inspired by the city's revolutionary spirit and culture of innovation, we transformed a landmark 1880s building into an immersive hospitality experience where history, contemporary art, and local creativity converge. From the brand identity and environmental graphics to custom interiors, commissioned installations, and guest programming, every element was designed to celebrate Boston's creative legacy while delivering a modern, culturally connected experience for today's traveler. A key feature of the hotel is a 65’ custom mural by artist Tristan Eaton that wraps the hotel’s lobby and celebrates significant revolutionaries from Boston’s history.
Banyan Bar
and Refuge
Crafting a Neighborhood Icon
Partnering closely with the owner, I led the creative direction for the brand identity and interior experience of Banyan Bar + Refuge, helping shape a hospitality destination as distinctive as its menu. Inspired by the restaurant’s modern interpretation of Asian cuisine and its handcrafted approach to food and cocktails, we developed a visual identity and environment that balanced warmth, authenticity, and contemporary character, creating a culinary oasis within Boston’s South End.
Orfano
A Modern Take on an Italian Classic
Creative partnership with chef-owner Tiffani Faison and Big Heart Hospitality to develop the brand identity for Orfano, an Italian-American restaurant that reimagined a familiar dining tradition through a contemporary lens. Balancing timeless elegance with a playful, irreverent personality, the identity reflected Tiffani's distinctive culinary point of view: elevated and approachable.
Tiger Mama
Hospitality Big on Heart and Flavor
Brand identity and interior consultation for Chef Tiffani Faison’s Tiger Mama, a vibrant restaurant concept inspired by the flavors, energy, and visual richness of Southeast Asian cuisine. Working to translate the restaurant’s bold point of view beyond the menu, I helped develop a brand expression and environmental experience that captured its playful spirit, tropical atmosphere, and sense of discovery. The result was a fully immersive identity that brought together hospitality, storytelling, and design to create a memorable destination within Boston’s evolving culinary scene.
The Alyx
Designed for Modern Living
Creative direction, naming, brand identity, and launch campaign for The Alyx at EchelonSeaport, a luxury residential community that redefined modern urban living in Boston's Seaport District. Partnering with the ownership and development teams from the earliest stages, I helped shape the property's market position by creating a distinctive name and brand that reflected its contemporary architecture, elevated lifestyle, and strong sense of community. From the visual identity and leasing materials to the launch experience, every touchpoint was designed to express a refined yet welcoming destination
Bower
A Modern Urban Sanctuary
In partnership with Beam, and the Gerding Edlen development team, I led the brand design for Bower Residences, a luxury residential community designed around the idea of connected urban living in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood. The brand expresses a modern sanctuary where thoughtful design and hospitality-inspired amenities foster a strong sense of community. From the leasing experience and marketing campaign to environmental graphics and launch materials, every touchpoint was designed to position Bower as more than a place to live. It became a lifestyle destination centered on gathering, wellness, and elevated everyday living.
The Brynx
Rooted in JP
In partnership with PCA Architects and Samuels & Associates, I served as creative director, leading the naming, brand identity, and launch of The Brynx, a multi-unit residential community that reimagines a historic 1920s landmark for a new generation of renters. Inspired by Jamaica Plain's independent spirit and abundant green spaces, the name playfully embraces the neighborhood's reputation as being "out there," transforming distance into a badge of authenticity. The brand balanced the building's architectural heritage with a contemporary lifestyle, creating a distinct identity that celebrates community, outdoor living, and the unique character that has long defined one of Boston's most beloved neighborhoods.
